Yield Systems is an organization based in Espoo, Finland that aims to revolutionize the global food system through the use of AI and machine learning. Their main goal is to develop cost-efficient AI capabilities for plant breeding, with a focus on improving crop yields and adapting to climate change. They have successfully conducted 15 customer pilots in Europe, Asia, and Australia, and have received funding from Innovestor and Business Finland. Yield Systems was founded as a spin-out from the Aalto Uni Startup Centre and is led by CEO Jussi Gillberg.
